Unleash your inner designer in this hands-on workshop where you'll play with AI assisted tools, tinker with prototyping building forms, and reimagine how buildings come to life in your communities.
Participants will work in teams to create proposals to address problems like homelessness, flooding, riverfront access, public amenities, bus shelters, and transit improvements in Pittsburgh. Team up with your neighbors to brainstorm wild ideas, then use new technological tools and traditional ideation to bring them to life. As the event progresses, teams will be met with new obstacles that will challenge their workflows to adapt and react.
We'll leave the workshop with a new perspective on how your neighborhoods get developed and maybe a few blueprints for the future!
This event is open to anybody interested; no prior experience is necessary.
