Allegheny County passed C-PACE legislation in September, allowing this innovative financing tool for sustainable design to be available in our area. Learn how C-PACE and PA’s flagship energy efficiency law, Act 129, can provide support for healthier, high performing buildings.
C-PACE provides funding to help facilitate energy efficiency and clean energy loans. Nationally, half a billion dollars has been invested through C-PACE loans, and many industry experts expect that number to double in the next few years. In Pennsylvania, C-PACE investment can help retrofit one of the nation’s oldest building stocks and accelerate growth in a local energy efficiency industry that already accounts for 65,000 jobs and counting.
PA Act 129, passed in 2008, works to reduce the cost of electricity and lessen environmental impact due to energy consumption. It has led to tremendous gains in energy efficiency in the past decade.
Join us and learn how to benefit from these opportunities. This will be seminar one of two focusing on C-PACE – the second will be a deeper dive into how architects, property owners, and capital providers have utilized C-PACE in other states, and operational aspects of the program.
1.5 AIA CEUs. Lunch will be provided.
Online registration closes Friday, Oct. 18. Seats are limited so please register early.
