ULI Pittsburgh’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) and AIA Pittsburgh’s Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee, as part of the inauguaral Pittsburgh Architecture Week, have partnered with the generous support of the Elsie H. Hillman Foundation and the Heinz Endowments to assemble women leaders and innovators to examine how Pittsburgh can evolve to be more equitable, diverse and inclusionary from a viewpoint of women in our community. Join us at the River’s Club (Suite 411) for breakfast and networking and a thought provoking and engaging program.
Mary Anne Ocampo, Architect, Planner, and Sasaki Foundation Chair will serve as Keynote Speaker. After which, six local women leaders from various design and real estate disciplines, will lead small group discussions focusing on ideas and experiences that women bring into the field and how we can continue to transform our lived environment to be more inclusive for all.
Mary Anne is a Principal at Sasaki, a multidisciplinary firm with an integrated planning and design philosophy, and an Associate Professor of the Practice of Urban Design and Planning in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She practices as an urban designer, working on international and domestic institutional and urban projects, leading teams with strategic planning and a commitment to design excellence.
